Payment for Internet access can be achieved by various means and is based on a specific duration of time, referred
to as a lease. The time increments are configurable depending on your business and your customers browsing behaviors.
For example, a mobile user at a café will generally have short Internet sessions in which case hourly increments might be used.
A hotel guest on the other hand will require access throughout their stay making a 24 hour or daily increment desirable.
The method of payment is also flexible, depending again on the type of business and consumer demand.
Pre-paid Card – Special passcodes, which allow a user to
successfully gain access using ZoxZone, are provided on small, wallet sized cards. These passcodes are preset by
ZoxZone and sold at the point of purchase. Credit Card payment – VeriSign certification is used to
provide consumers with the option to pay for access using their credit card. Payments are validated before
authorization is provided for access. Subscription – For longer access periods for regular
users of ZoxZone, a subscription service can be offered. Using the credit card payment method, passcodes can be
issued to individual users for use at the appropriate ZoxZone location. PMS (ZoxZone.hotel only) – The ZoxZone Gateway can be
customized to integrate with hotel Property Management Systems such as Fidelio. Charges can be passed from the
ZoxZone Gateway to the PMS to be added to the guest’s portfolio. |
