Setting Up Your Microsoft™ Windows™ Wireless Connection

To get started, make sure your wireless card is correctly installed and active and then proceed with the following steps.

  1. Open the wireless card Utility Configuration program by either clicking on the icon in the taskbar or going to the Start menu and selecting it in the Programs menu.

  2. In the Configuration tab, set the Mode to “Infrastructure” and SSID to "zoxzone”

  3. Click “Apply”.

  4. If your Configuration Utility has an Encryption tab, set Encryption (or WEP) to “disabled” and click "OK".

  5. In the Control Panel, open the Network and Dialup Connections icon.

  6. Open the Local Area Connection icon. Click “Properties”.

  7. Select Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and click “Properties”.

  8. Make sure that “Obtain an IP address automatically” and “Obtain DNS server address automatically” are both checked. Click “OK”.

  9. Click “OK” and close the Local Area Connection properties screen.

  10. Reboot your computer.

  11. Launch your Internet browser, you should now be able to see the ZoxZone welcome screen.
